Everett Public Schools Free & Reduced Price Meals
The Washington School Lunch Program (NSLP) and the School Breakfast Program (SBP) are designed to promote the health and well-being of children by providing nutritious meals to children in public and private schools and residential child care institutions (RCCIs). Everett Public Schools Food & Nutrition Services provides a complete breakfast and lunch program for all students which meets or exceeds the nutritional requirements established by the National School Breakfast and Lunch programs. They serve approximately 3,000 breakfasts and 9,000 lunches each day. Breakfast and lunch are available every day at every school.
Everett Public Schools participates in the National School Lunch, School Breakfast, After School Snacks, Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Grant, Summer Food Service and USDA Food Distribution Programs. USDA regulations guide our program.
Households will qualify for this program iF:
- In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must be a resident of the state of Washington and a parent or primary caregiver responsible for a child(ren) who attends school (high school or under).
- Family must fill out a meal application every school year and return it to the child's school.
- They either have been approved or receive Basic Food (Food Stamps), Children on TANF or Basic Food may get free meals without the household having to complete an application (children may be identified by the school using a data matching process). If students are on this Matched list, please contact the school immediately if you feel that your children should be receiving free meals and are not.
- In order to qualify, you also must have an annual household income (before taxes) that is below the following amounts:

*For households with more than eight people, add $7,696 per additional person. Always check with the appropriate managing agency to ensure the most accurate guidelines.
