YWCA

This location is the main neighborhood center that serves as the headquarters for YWCA programs in Snohomish County.

Programs currently offered at this location include:

  • Working Wardrobe: clothing for homeless and low-income women in need of outfits for job interviews or new employment.

  • Pathways to Work: workshops and classes teach people the skills they need to return to the workforce or school. Held at several Snohomish County locations.

  • Children's Domestic Violence Program: specialized counseling for children and non-abusive parents to minimize the effects of domestic violence.

 

Pathways Counseling

Supportive mental health counseling on a sliding scale for low-income women and families.Counseling for adults, families and couples is offered addressing issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, relationship and life transitions.

Eligibility is determined through our intake process. Individuals who are interested in counseling services are asked to call our intake line. 425.412.2360.

Shelter Plus Care: 

Shelter Plus Care responds to the need of a hard to reach population - homeless adults and families with disabilities - with permanent housing and long-term support services. permanent housing vouchers for homeless adults with a qualifying disability. 

Eligibility: Applicants for Shelter Plus Care must be connected to the program through Snohomish County Coordinated Entry. Individuals and families can enroll in Coordinated Entry by contacting a Housing Navigator at one of the Coordinated Entry sites listed here: http://snohomishcountywa.gov/2238/Investing-In-Futures.

Direct applications will not be accepted.

To be eligible, applicants must be experiencing literal homelessness and have a disability.

BUS INFORMATION FOR THIS LOCATION

Everett Transit

Potential clients can take any buses headed to the Everett Transit Center. Will come off there for most busses and walk about four minutes to the YWCA.

  • 4- South to Downtown

  • 3- South to W Casino Rd

  • 7- South to mall station - has a closer stop just before the Transit Center.

  • 29- South to mall station

  • 17- South to mall station

  • 18 - East or West

  • Para Transit also available

Community Transit: 

  • North bound swift bus off at off at last stop at Everett Transit Center
