Everett Housing Authority

The Everett Housing Authority (EHA) addresses "a shortage of safe and sanitary dwelling accommodations in said City of Everett available to persons of low income at rentals they can afford.”

This agency is focused expanding the current supply of affordable housing for low-income persons residing in Everett area. The EHA website provides about existing low-income housing locations operating in Everett. Each location page provides: the housing program type, contact information for the apartment or community leasing agents, information regarding property waiting lists, and upcoming opening dates for a property's waitlist.

Some of the locations have only the property contact information. Most of the properties that maintain a waiting list will only notify individuals on the list about unit vacancies. Most of the housing featured on this site is for individuals that are seniors or disabled.

As of 2/14/2017, all the properties on the EHA's site that maintain waiting lists are currently closed with no scheduled opening date. (The site advises individuals looking for units to continue to check the website for waiting list opening date information).

The EHA’s programs as of 9/1/2016:

  • Section 8 Tenant Based Vouchers -- 2,067
  • Public Housing -- 288
  • Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Project Based Voucher Program -- 333
  • Project Based Voucher Program -- 472
  • Affordable/Tax Credit Units -- 427
