Pacific Treatment Alternatives

The Pacific Treatment Alternatives serves Snohomish County by providing a variety of alcohol and drug services including assessment, treatment, case management, outreach and urine and breath testing residents. Each of this organizations programs are provided at no cost to the client. The Pacific Treatment Alternatives is the admitting agency for The Safe Babies, Safe Moms (SBSM), Case management, connections to comprehensive services, behavioral health treatment, classes.

AIDS Outreach program & Needle Exchange

Once a week the AIDS Outreach Program offers a Drop-In Clinic at 1625 East Marine View Drive, Suite #4, Everett WA 98201-1975.
No appointments are needed. Come and enjoy a hot meal, sympathetic ears, consultation, education, HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis screenings and HIV/AIDS transmission reduction methods and supplies. There are no charges for the food, services or supplies.

The Safe Babies, Safe Moms (SBSM)

This program serves low-income women with a history of alcohol/drug abuse who are pregnant or parenting a child under three years of age.  We work with families until their youngest child reaches age three. Program goals are focused on helping clients with Sobriety, Parenting - by teach parenting skills, healthy discipline, and developmentally appropriate expectations and Skill Building though educational classes, case management and in individual treatment helps.This program also provides individual and family mental health counseling and coordinate with our partner agencies for in-patient and outpatient chemical dependency treatment. Family planning counseling for the prevention of unplanned pregnancies.

This service offers van transportation to clients who live in group settings. Clients with medical coupons can use ParaTransit transportation by calling at
least 24 hours in advance - 425-257-8801.When funding is available this service may also be able to purchase car seats, cribs, pregnancy clothing and other necessary items in order to provide for infant safety and parent success. 

Other Services are Available: The Safe Babies, Safe Moms program partners with other agencies through coordinated referral to other community resources that provide services.

Client Eligibility:

  • Pregnant or Parenting a Child Under 2.5 Years of Age
  • Recent History of Alcohol or Other Drug Abuse
  • Mother or Child is Medicaid Eligible

AIDS Outreach Program  

The AIDS Outreach program works with actively using drug addicted men and women by providing directly and through referral: Education, Outreach, Detoxification, Inpatient drug treatment, Outpatient drug treatment, Medical services,
 Transportation, Confidential no-cost Hepatitis-C testing, tuberculosis screening, Confidential no-cost HIV/AIDS screening, influenza vaccines, and HIV/AIDS/Hepatitis transmission reduction methods.
