Prescription Drug Assistance Foundation (PDAF)

PDAF, the Prescription Drug Assistance Foundation, was established by the state legislature to provide assistance to anyone whose prescription drug coverage is inadequate, including private insurance, Medicaid and plans on the health care exchange. The aim of this foundation was to making medications available in a timely fashion to low-income, uninsured and underinsured Washingtonians at no or reduced cost. PDAN, the Prescription Drug Assistance Network, is helping low-income families and individuals throughout Washington state get the medicines their doctors prescribe. Thousands of people across our state have already been assisted by programs that provide them with extra help acquiring their medicines.
