Washington State’s Department of Services for the Blind

Washington State’s Department of Services for the Blind (DSB) provides "one front door" for people of all ages who are blind or have low vision in Washington state. Washington State Department of Services for the Blind (DSB) provides training, counseling, and support to help Washington residents of all ages, who are blind or visually impaired, pursue employment, education, and independent living. The goal is “Inclusion, Independence, and Economic Vitality for People with Visual Disabilities.”

They provide job counseling and teach adaptive skills to people who are blind or have low vision. They serve children and youth who are blind or have low vision from birth through high school graduation. They offer a wide range of services, tailored to you and committed to our mission—“Inclusion, Independence, and Economic Vitality for People with Visual Disabilities.”
